Church Vicar jailed after telling 13 year old girl to rape her 9-yr old sister
A Church of England vicar who told a 13-year-old girl to sexually abuse her nine-year-old sister during an online chat has been jailed for just two years.
Reverend James Ogley, a married father of two young children, told the teenager he wanted her and her sister to have sex with their own mother.In another online exchange, he told the teenager to rape her younger sibling.
Police officers discovered the clergyman's communications when they went to the vicarage in Luton, Bedfordshire, where he lived with his family and seized his laptop computer from his study.
Ogley had been a regular visitor to the chat room for youngsters, deriving sexual gratification from the chat logs,
Passing sentence, Judge David Farrell QC told him:
'What you did was totally incompatible with the beliefs and teachings of a vicar. You are there to uphold and further Christian beliefs.You were and still are the vicar of St Francis Church here in Luton. You have let down all those who looked up to you as the holder of a respected office.
According to Mailonline, the court was told he had lost everything following his fall from grace. His marriage had fallen apart, he had lost his home and now he would be dismissed from the church.
Ogley himself had pretended to be a youngster and on one occasion during a conversation claimed he was a 14-year-old boy from Ireland.When interviewed by detectives, Ogley admitted he had been sexually aroused while having the online conversations, but he said he had never arranged to meet anyone

Boko Haram members sentenced to 75 years in Jail
Three Boko Haram members were yesterday, sentenced to 75 years jail term with hard labour by a Federal High Court in Lagos.The convicts,Ali Mohammed, Adamu Karumi and Ibrahim Usman were pronounced guilty of offence bordering on conspiracy to commit terrorism, illegal possession of firearms, and being members of a proscribed organisation.
According to the Sun,Justice Buba had earlier granted an application that the trial should be conducted in secret following an application brought by the prosecution to protect the witnesses. It was gathered that the convicts were found guilty on three of the 18-count charge brought against them.
Initially, 17 suspects were charged to court but were later reduced to four following the withdrawal of the case against the suspects, leaving only four.
Mohammed, Karumi and Usman were tried on offences bordering on terrorism said to have been committed on March 21, at Plot 5, Road 69, Lekki Phase I Housing Estate, and No. 24, Oyegbeni St., Ijora-Oloye, Apapa-Iganmu, Lagos.
They were said to have been caught in possession of three packets of explosive construction pipes, 15 detonators, and 11 AK47 rifles with 30 rounds of live ammunition, 200 rounds of 7.6 milimetres of live ammunition, two suitcases containing explosives, and a water container filled with explosives.
