WOW! See all the official photos, details from Tosyn Bucknor's wedding

Media personality Tosyn Buknor has now released her official wedding photos and we are loving them!

"So earlier this year (2015), i got engaged. It did not happen when and where you thought it did sha (hee hee hee) and one day i shall tell...

But fast forward to November 2015 and le boo and i got married! Very grateful to Nigeria's best event planner, who also happens to be my sister, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe (how lucky am i?). Apart from being the C.E.O of Zapphaire Events, the wedding coordinators, she also owns the sister company, 'Decor by Furtullah', headed by Pearl Ilolo. They put together a breath-taking fairytale wedding for me. Thank you to God, my partner, my family, my friends, our guests, and once again, the incredible, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe and her team." she disclosed on her blog.

When my sister asked what i wanted for my wedding, i told her i wanted people to be happy and leave feeling like wow, they had experienced something beautiful! I also wanted our (Omowale and i) cultures, passion and things we love reflected.

Fun Facts:
- The table names were in either French or Yoruba. They were names or titles of things that mattered to us. I for example wanted to celebrate my grandmothers so i had 'Olakunbi' and 'Adeoti' tables (their names), and also my house in secondary school (Efunjoke).

- My 'something borrowed' was a brooch from Sasha and my tiara from Princess. Something new were my shooooooes and dress. Something old was the bracelet that belonged to my maternal grandmother that i wore in her memory and Something blue was... (guess)

I kidnapped my boss because she maltreated me -Driver (Photo)

A suspected kidnapper, Solomon Michael, who was paraded alongside four others at the Lagos State Police command, Ikeja,  has confessed that he plotted the kidnap of his boss because she maltreated him,Vanguard reports .
The suspect, who was paraded alongside Ibrahim Sozza, Thankgod Husseni, Paul Brutus and Suleiman Mohammed, for allegedly robbing and kidnapping one Alhaja Modupe Idris, a business tycoon in Idumota and her sister, Alhaja Risikat Laminu, said:

“I plotted to rob and kidnap my boss because she was maltreating me. It was one Emmanuel who organised four others that assisted me in carrying out the robbery and kidnapping.   After the operation, Emmanuel and his gang gave me the Toyota SUV, smart phone and one I-pad as my share of the loot.
“Immediately I collected it, Ibrahim and I travelled to Jos, Plateau State to meet Thankgod Husseni, who we earlier told about the operation. It was Husseni that helped us sell our loot.  He sold the SUV to one Brutus for N400, 000.”

It was learned that sometime in September, 2015, Solomon arranged the kidnap of Alhaja Idris, who employed him as her driver. He had worked for her for two years.
To perfect his plans, he connived with Emmanuel, a leader of an armed robbery gang, who is now at large to assist him kidnap Alhaja Modupe.

It was gathered that on September 30, Emma and his gang trailed Alhaja from her shop to Surulere area in Lagos, at 9:30p.m., where they hit her vehicle from the back feigning an  accident.
Immediately her driver, Solomon stopped the vehicle to check the extent of damage the accident caused, the gang struck, robbed and kidnapped Alhaja Modupe, her sister, Alhaja Laminu and her house maid, who were inside a black Toyota SUV with  number plate LSR871BM.

They also collected N1.2 million, and other valuables from her before taking them to a bush somewhere at Ijebu-Ode area.

We Have All The Evidence Of Bribe Collected By Saraki – SR

The senate president, Bukola Saraki, has denied being involved in the N60bn arms deal involving the immediate past National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

Saraki said the report was a plot by Sahara Reporters to tarnish his reputation, as the medium was in his words, pursuing "the singular objective of removing him from the office of the Senate President."

The Sahara Reporters' report accused Mr. Saraki of blackmailing the Central Bank of Nigeria to pay him and other senators N250 million as a way of covering up the arbitrary withdrawal by the NSA from the security fund approved by former President Goodluck Jonathan.

“First, there is no logic in Sahara Reporters’ claim as Dr. Saraki who was persecuted by the last administration could not have had the influence and good standing to walk up to the Central Bank to demand for any money having exposed many atrocities of the past administration. Again, on what ground would the Senate President blackmail anyone for 250 Million naira? It must be emphasized here that Dr. Saraki will never engage in any sharp practice or issue which will warrant him to blackmail any individual or government institution.

“Therefore for record purposes, Dr. Saraki did not collect any money from any official of the CBN in respect of any arms deal. The Senate President also challenge SaharaReporters or any official of the apex bank, Senator, serving or past, who witnessed or participated in any sharing of the alleged money purported to have been received by him, to come out with evidence.

“It should be recalled that SaharaReporters believe it can continue to disparage and defame people claiming that it is operating outside the country. The medium cannot operate above the law.

“The game being played by SaharaReporters and its sponsors is clear. As they have done in previous cases involving the on-going trial of the Senate President at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, they are targeting the Appeal at the Supreme Court coming up on Thursday, December 3rd 2015. They want to prejudice the Supreme Court as they have done when they blackmailed a judge of the Federal High Court to withdraw from the case and also published false reports, which compelled the Court of Appeal to postpone its judgment at the last minute.

“Whatever the motive of Sahara Reporters, it is high time we employed the instrument of the law to stop this act of impunity aimed at publishing false reports believing the victims will not go to court or be frustrated by its dubious claims that they are domiciled outside Nigeria."

But Sahara Reporters has fired back. The medium reacted on Tuesday, saying it stood by its report and assured Saraki it will defend its position in any court within and outside Nigeria.

“As Nigeria’s number three man, there is no need for him to do legal tourism by going to courts outside the country. He should believe in the system and go to any court in Nigeria,” the publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, told Premium Times.

“We are ready to meet him in any court in Nigeria. If he goes to court to challenge us outside of Nigeria, he would be using the money he has taken from the Nigerian people to pay expensive lawyers outside the shores of Nigeria whereas all the evidences of his corruption are based here in Nigeria.”

SR's Sowore said the senate under Saraki failed to raise any concern about the extra-budgetary withdrawals, even when it knew about it, because its leaders were involved in the fraud.

Commissioners, Others Dump PDP, Defect to APC in Bayelsa

The show of solidarity was massive on Tuesday by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State and its governorship candidate, Chief Timpre Sylva, to wrest power from the Governor Seriake Dickson-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come December 5, 2015.

All road led to Yenagoa as mammoth crowd of party faithful and leaders of the APC thronged the Samson Siasia Stadium to shower love on Sylva’s ambition to become the next governor of the state.

President Buhari represented by VP Yemi Osibanjo; National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the former interim Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande made the final rally. More photos...
The National Working Committee of the APC temporarily relocated to Bayelsa as the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun led other members of the committee to the rally described by people as APC’s icing on the cake ahead of the election.
Governors elected on the platforms of APC such as Adams Oshiomhole (Edo); Aminu Tambuwa (Sokoto) and Rochas Okorocha (Imo) represented by his deputy, Eze Madumere, were all in attendance.

The event was further spiced by the presence of the governorship candidates of the party in the South South states, who are seeking justice in courts, such as Dakuku Peterside (Rivers), Otega Emerhor (Delta) and Umana Umana (Akwa Ibom) including Senator Magnus Abe.

The Secretary to the Federal Government, Babachir Lawal, and some ministers and members of the federal cabinet graced the occasion.

The ranks of the PDP were further depleted and the chances of Dickson narrowed following the defections of serving commissioners and other officials of the government to the APC at the venue.
“There will be jobs, progress in this state. Everyone one of us looking for promotion will have it by the grace of God. You will achieve great things,” VP Osinbajo assured the people.
Also speaking, Tinubu whose name and presence excited the crowd, asked the people of the state to send PDP with its 16 years of ineptitude out of power with their PVC.

Dokpesi claims N2.1bn was for PDP Campaigns; is PDP & AIT Running Same Account?

90% of those who go into politics in Nigeria, simply do so with the intention to have access to steal public money and live large. This case of Sambo Dasuki allegedly sharing our money is a big example!

Rayment Dokpesi, founder of Daar Communication (Ray Power and AIT), has explained what transpired on Tuesday, December 1, ,2015 when the EFCC arrested and interrogated him.

He said the EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, through a phone call, invited him to the Commission.

On getting there, he was requested to “shed more light on some payments that were made to him through the office of the erstwhile NSA to the former President, Malam Sambo Dasuki.”

Dokpesi claimed that the "N2.1billion that he collected from the former NSA was the payment for publicity and media political campaigns during the 2015 General Elections (for PDP).”

Dokpesi “made his statement on the various media exposures and campaign transactions which were dutifully carried out based essentially on contractual obligations/relationship.”

He however could not explain how the office of the National Security Adviser became the cashier office for the payment of campaign expenses and the source of the money.

A special panel and EFCC are probing how trillions of naira budgeted for defence were spent in the last eight years. An interim report by the panel already reported phoney contracts in excess of $2.1bn.
