Reports are coming in that the ongoing peaceful protest to show displeasure at the Federal Govts indifference to the 11 months old strike by lecturers and students of Nigeria’s polytechnics and colleges of education at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja, has been disrupted by the police this Tuesday morning when police officers fired tear-gas and opened water cannons at the protesters.
