Singer Chris Brown looked tired and haggard as he appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday where Judge James Brandlin ruled he will remain incarcerated until May 9.
This will give his attorney Mark Geragos and prosecution time to attempt to strike a deal over penalties for his violation of probation, ordered after his 2009 guilty plea for assaulting then girlfriend, Rihanna.
He's been in jail for six weeks and now now he faces another nine days behind bars.
If the two sides don't agree, Chris faces four years in jail.
