UPDATE: How The Latest Bomb Blast Happened In Abuja



Nigeria is under siege and the sad reality today is that our leaders are still busy playing 2015 politics.


Information has come out as to how the bomb blast in Nyanya, Abuja, was carried out. The Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Sanni Sidi disclosed that the unfortunate incident in the highly populated town happened when a strange car parked with explosives exploded.

Speaking with Journalists at Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja, Sanni Sidi who said that the gravity of the blast was not as intensive as the previous one, stressed that it happened fifty metres away from the last one, but at the same Nyanya axis of Abuja.

Speaking with Journalists at the Asokoro Hospital, Minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, said:
The incident is unfortunate, especially coming barely some weeks after the last one. He assured residents of the territory, as usual, of government’s readiness to provide security as well as protect lives and property.

On the number of injured at the hospitals, Secretary, Health and Human Services, Ademola Onakomaiya said the number of those who sustained injuries are: 41 with 30 at Asokoro Hospital, 2 in Maitama Hospital and 9 at the National Hospital.
