GOVERNOR NYAKO HAS BEEN IMPEACHED

The deed has been done. PDP has succeeded in reducing the number of states controlled by the APC to 14 and more is coming. The Adamawa State House of Assembly has impeached the state Governor Murtala Nyako on the premise that the governor is guilty of gross misconduct.

Eighteen out of the 24 members of the Assembly voted to impeach the governor after adopting the report of the seven-man panel set up to investigate allegations of gross misconduct against the governor and his deputy, Bala Ngilari.
This is the plan: In the absence of the governor and the resignation of the deputy, the constitution provides that the Speaker of the House, who is a PDP members, will become the acting governor of the state...

From what isaiahakomor.blogspot.com gathered, the State House of Assembly Speaker, Ahmadu Fintiri, has perfected his plan to become the acting governor of the state, Nyako's impeachment was the subterfuge.

You may wish to know that the deputy governor, Ngilari, submitted his letter of resignation to the Assembly on Tuesday morning, hours before the lawmakers took their decision.

INEC is expected to conduct an election in the State in the next few months.
