Gucci Mane Sentenced To 39 Months In Federal Prison

Rapper Gucci was sentenced to 39 months in federal prison yesterday for a firearms conviction related to two incidents in September, according to the AJC.  Because Gucci has been incarcerated for 11 months following his arrests, he is looking at a 28 month sentence, which will be followed by three years of probation.


According to the report, Gucci, whose government name is Radric Davis, has requested that he be transferred to a prison on the West Coast so that he can cut ties with negative influences in Atlanta and undergo drug treatment during his time in prison.
