How To Avoid The Critical Mistakes In Marriage

Avoiding 52 Marital Mistakes
It is not unusual for two or more people to co-author a book. What is somehow unusual is what Ola Adejubee and Bose Adejubee have done. The couple co-authored 52 Marital Mistakes and their Solutions.

Apparently, Ola and Bose did not only see the reason for the two of them to come together and become one the day they got married, they had also felt the need to come together and become authors. The interesting contents of the book that excited many...

Among them was Pastor Bello Adekunle, who was the chairman of the occasion. Noting that the subject of the book was one that concerned almost everybody, Adekunle said there was the need to read it and appreciate it as an intellectual property of note.

He said, “Writing a book is like building a house. l have been in the academia for years and I know that publishing a book is not an easy task.”

The reviewer, Morohunkeji Olawale, described the publication as a marital guide book. According to her, if one wants to sum up the admonitions in it, all one needs to do is to read and meditate on what Paul wrote to the Philippians in The Bible.

She highlighted the subjects to include the need for a woman to complement her partner rather than seeing him as a competitor.

She said, “Competing with your man threatens his ego.”

Speaking on behalf of the couple, Ola said as pastors, he and his wife had observed for nearly 20 years that marital problems were multiplying in the church as the economy bit harder. They thus felt the need to proffer practical and biblical solutions to such.

“My passionate desire is that people will read the book and apply the contents for solutions to whatever challenges they are facing,” he added.

The 52 mistakes identified by the authors come under two categories in the book: ‘Women’s marital mistakes and their solutions’ and ‘Men’s marital mistakes and their solutions’.

Some of the topics treated under the first section are ‘Not inspiring thought in your man’, ‘Competing rather than complementing the man’, ‘Refusal to submit to your husband’, ‘Regularly failing the test of humility’, ‘Being careless with dressing once married’,’ Lack of self development’ and ‘Undue comparison of your husband with others’.

Watch out for the book, it will sure help you in marriage.
