A man identified as Onyekachi Ugwu has killed his father, set his house ablaze and killed eight others in Ehamufu Isiuzo, Enugu State. It was gathered that the suspect, who has been arrested by the police, had gone to the Ngelefi farm settlement where different families, including his parents reside, at night and allegedly used machete to kill his father and afterwards set the house ablaze.
His action also left his father’s house, domestic animals, motorcycle and other household materials burnt. Not accomplished by his action, the suspect further visited other houses at the settlement where he also used machete to kill the occupants, including a year and six-month-old baby in one of the houses.
However, the State Police Command has commenced investigations into killing of these nine persons.
