Police in Samut Prakarn, Bangkok, Thailand were called after reports of a Nigerian causing trouble in the area.
They found the man lying down in the middle of the road, near the Sam Sian Elephant Museum. This action had caused a build up of traffic because motorists had to drive round him.
The man is said to be aged about 35 and was dressed in only shorts.
Officers picked him and put him on the sidewalk but he was gabbling incoherently and had no identification at all.
He was later taketo Samut Prakan police station where investigations were underway to find out who he is and if he is in the country legally, but so far they could only determine that he was from Nigeria.
