Michael Ibru, husband of Cecilia Ibru, former managing director of Oceanic Bank, and head of the Ibru family has died.
Disclosing this in a statement, the family said he died in a US hospital in the early hours of Tuesday.
Ibru, the Otota of Agbarha-Otor Kingdom and an Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR), passed on in the early hours of today, after protracted illness.
His death is coming months after the burial of his younger brother and former Governor of Dealta State, Felix Ibru.
