A man, named Tunde on early hours of Sunday hanged himself at over misunderstanding with wife at Aboru, in Agbado Oke, Lagos State. The lifeless body of the deceased, who lived on Tokyo Street, Edun, in Aboru, was said to have been discovered by neighbours in an uncompleted building on Aluko street, in the same area.
The deceased was said to be having a running battle with his wife in the past few weeks, a development that eventually led to the woman packing out of her matrimonial home.
“The guy is a commercial motorcyclist in this area, but for the past few weeks, he had been having a running battle with his wife, a development that led to the wife leaving the house for him.
“This could be one of the reasons the deceased decided to call it quit,” said a resident, who did not want his name in print.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for Lagos State police command, Dolapo Badmos, stated that the command was working on the probability of the deceased strangled to death and hanged by unknown assailants.
