The story travelled at the speed of light after Nigeria's Defence spokesman, General Chri Olukola, without his usual diligent double-checking process, confirmed that two buses loaded with Chibok Girls were driven into the Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Tuesday. Many people were so happy, they've already started celebrating the feat on social media platforms.
Funny enough, moments later, the same Gen. Olukolade retracted his earlier statement while speaking with the BBC. He said, actually, the girls that he said were released are not the abducted Chibok girls.
So, who are the girls that were driven into the Barrack in 2 buses? Who drove them? We are waiting!
