Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has freed 95 inmates. According to the information gathered, most of the freed inmates had stayed between 5 to 9 years in detention without conviction.
This happened following Thursday’s visit by El-Rufai’s, to the Kaduna Convict Prisons. The state Chief Judge, Justice Tanimu Zailani imediately released 95 awaiting trial inmates in the state.
He, however, charged the freed inmates to go and sin no more.
