Police offer N5million reward for information on kidnapped ex-Minister

The Ogun State Police Command has offered a reward of five million Naira to anyone with useful information that could lead to the rescue of the abducted Senator Iyabo Anisulowo.

This offer was communicated by the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Police Command, Mr Muyiwa Adejobi in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The command has however debunked media report of 200 million Naira being demanded by the
abductors, saying nothing of such has been communicated  by her abductors

Senator Iyabo Anisulowo was kidnapped 6 days ago on her way home from her farm located around Sawonjo area of Ogun State, South West Nigeria.

The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has also deployed two Police helicopters for the search of former Minister of State for Education.

A statement earlier issued by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, says the choppers have been patrolling suspected kidnappers’ hideouts within the state with search parties.

The state police command is assuring everyone that the kidnapped former senator will soon be rescued unhurt and the culprits apprehended.
