Mildred Okwo Supports Stella Damasus’ Going Hard on Ghana Producer, Djansi

Earlier today, now U.S based Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus dropped a video on YouTube, where she replied a U.S based Ghanaian filmmaker, Leila Djansi for calling Nollywood filmmakers names in her new documentary. In a follow up of what Ms. Damasus did, prolific film producer, Mildred Okwo has written a short open letter to the figure called, "Nollywood". "Dear Nollywood, as much as they want to deny your existence, it is still on record that you gave a great many the impetus to dream impossible dreams. They call you every name in the book, even seek to erase you from the books but deep down they know that you are the BOOK.

They think they are better than you but is that not laughable? Without you they had nothing... no guts..no glory... now they prance around like they own it all and apparently you have become trash that should be buried.

They deny and discredit you but every time there is something to be gained by calling your name, you see them jumping up and down to be seen. I laugh so hard because without you most of them would have perished in a town called IRRELEVANCE.

You are so welcoming and that fools them into thinking you are a simpleton. They don't know that your welcoming hands are so that you may live forever... that they will come and go but that you NOLLYWOOD will live forever," she wrote on her Facebook page.
