Eko for show! All is set for the 2016 Access Lagos City Marathon race scheduled to hold today February 6, 2016.
The start point (7am) is the Teslim Balogun stadium, Surulere while the finish point, pictured above, is Eko Atlantic. In between, the runners will go through popular stops like Ojuelegba, Anthony, Maryland, Ojota, Ogudu, Third Mainland Bridge, and Federal Palace Hotel among other places. The distance to be covered is 42.195 kilometres which is less than three hours.
Several renowned marathoners from Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and other countries are already in town for the event, while local and other athletes are fully prepared to participate in the event. Check out the prize money up for grabs below.
