JUST IN: Court of Appeal Sacks David Mark From Senate

The Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi, Benue State, has sacked former Senate President, David Mark from the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, declaring his election a nullity.

The APC senatorial candidate, Donald Onjeh's case against Mark's election was upheld by the court. The court therefore ordered INEC to conduct a re-run election for the senatorial district within 90 days.
