Who Are The Looters, How Much Did They Return? — Fayose Challenges Buhari

When a looter return money secretly to government without any arrest and prosecution, it is for the sake of being anonymous, so that no one will know that they stole in the first place. Most government in the world prefer this instead of going to court and spend over 10 years dragging the matter.

Nigerians know that people like Ayo Fayose and Uzor Kalu have been using SANs to dribble their cases of alleged corrupt enrichment in court for about 10 years or more.

But despite this obvious fact, Fayose has dared President Muhammadu Buhari. Read what he said...

“Since the purported looted funds belong to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it ought to have been paid into the Federation Account and shared by the Federal, State and Local Government.

“The truth is that Buhari did not fight corruption in 1984. Rather, he persecuted great Nigerians, especially the likes Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Ambrose Ali, Chief Bisi Onabanjo, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Bola Ige, who served the people meritoriously. Is Buhari justifying the imprisonment of Dr Alex Ekwueme, who was only the Vice President or APC leader like Chief Bisi Akande, who only served as a Deputy Governor?

“Yet, what we get to hear from the President is noise in foreign lands about non-existing fight against corruption. Honestly, this President should get to work and stop lying to Nigerians and the international community.”

- If President Buhari need to publicly reveal those who return money, then what is the need for them to come clean and save government the stress of long court case by returning the said money privately?
