A Delta state based spiritualist has reportedly detained an ex-witch over her inability to pay her bills after a she was delivered from witchcraft.
It was said that the woman had, among other shocking confessions, claimed responsibility for the imbecility of her grandson, changed the fortunes of her family members and initiated others, including her own daughter, into witchcraft.
The spiritualist, identified as Dr. Helen Ikutegbe who specialises in delivering self-confessed witches and wizards in Ogharefe, Ethiope West LGA of Delta State, last Friday detained a mother of four in her shrine following her inability pay her bill of N30,000.
The said amount was charged by the spiritualist, for her ritual services to cleanse and deliver her client who had confessed to have wreaked many havocs through her witchcraft powers...
It was learnt that the witch, identified as Mama Baby, sells banana at Ogharefe market, a sub-clan of Oghara, allegedly made the confession in the shrine of Dr. Ikutegbe located around Oghara junction near the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH) in Oghara.
Dr. Ikutegbe said: "When they brought her for cleansing and she confessed to the evils she had committed in the past, I gave her a charge of N30,000 and after which she was given a concoction to vomit all the debris of witchcraft in her body; unfortunately she could not pay for her services.
All her children and family members have deserted her for the magnitude of shame she brought upon the family as well as the evils she admitted to have committed, hence I detained her."
Findings revealed that the spiritualist had conducted over 30 deliverance sessions for witches and wizards in the Oghara and Ogharefe communities of Delta State alone.
