Escape Again? Drug Baron ‘El Chapo’ Disappears From Prison

Mexico is one country where too many people are loyal to drug kingpins. Early Sunday, popular drug baron, Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán, head of the Sinaloa Cartel, escaped from the Altiplano maximum security prison once again. As at the time of posting, it is unclear how he managed to disappear.

But Mexican officials released some details ABC News on the latest development:

2:35 AM: Guzmán was taken in restraints by two prison guards on a routine cell transfer.

3:05 AM: Prison staff could not locate Guzmán or the two prison guards’s whereabouts.
The prison was put on lockdown as personnel went looking for them, all three men had disappeared.

4:15 AM: A prison van was found abandoned only a mile away from the prison. Mexican officials believe the two guards, who began working at the prison just months ago, were actually members of the Sinaloa Cartel working for Guzmán.
Before his latest escape, Mexican officials were working to extradite “El Chapo” to the United States, where he faced drug trafficking charges connected to his cartel, authorities said.

An undercover U.S. FBI agent told the Dallas Morning News that El Chapo’s strange escape was like Osama Bin Laden escaping prison — and the state has only itself to blame. He added, “What does this say about Mexican corruption? Disgusting!”

This is now the third time El Chapo would be escaping from Mexican prison.

OMG! Boko Haram Burns Children, Kills Over 86

The heartless terror group, Boko Haram, is said to have burnt some children to death when the militants overran Dalori, a village four kilometres outside Maiduguri, where about 80 residents of the community were killed on Saturday night.

The Area Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency in Borno State, Mohammed Kanar, said 86 bodies were picked up in the village on Sunday.

A resident who managed to escape, said that screams of children could be heard from burning houses
as the embattled villagers ran in confusion to exit the village as the destruction raged. Also, a survivor, who said he hid on a tree, stated that he watched Boko Haram extremists firebomb huts and heard the screams of children burning to death, AP reports.

On Sunday, while some residents had managed to return to their houses which had been razed, burnt bodies and others, riddled with bullets, littered the streets and some burnt houses in the town.

One of those who had returned to the village on Sunday told Punch that insurgents including suicide bombers attacked the town, which also spilled over to the IDP camps around the village.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, he added that the suicide bombers mingled with fleeing villagers and detonated the explosives on them at the neighbouring Gamori village, killing several villagers.

Military sources say the terrorists are carrying out panic attacks as they were being bombed in the forest.

(Photos)This model alerts girlfriends of men who send her penis pictures online

An Australian model tired of seeing her male Instagram followers’ private parts has decided to shame the senders by letting their wives and girlfriends know what they were up to online.
Emily Sears, a 31-year-old beauty based in Los Angeles, has over 2 million followers and a constant stream of creeps to send in their own pictures of their pensises. Emily told BuzzFeed News.

“I usually receive at least one or two dick pics per day, at minimum,”  “It’s just been consistently happening for so long. I became absolutely fed up with these kinds of disturbing and disgusting messages and comments online.”
So one day, she decided to do something about it: let the girlfriends of the men sending the nude photos know how their partner was behaving online

“I think it provides an accountability that people seem to lose online; being behind a screen gives people a false sense of anonymity,” she said.
Emily was not alone: Her friend Laura, a DJ also based in L.A., says she has also been sent unsolicited nude photos for years across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
“I think the first time I decided to contact a girlfriend was probably close to two years ago when I opened my Instagram inbox to yet another dick pic with an explicit caption about wanting to fuck me from some random guy I’d never spoken to,”
“I wrote back, telling him that his behavior was terrible, and he replied with a string of sexual slurs and abuse, and kept calling me a slut.”
When Laura clicked on the profile of the man to block him, she noticed almost every photo he had posted was with his girlfriend, and was described in captions by his girlfriend as “the best boyfriend ever!”
I guess I felt really sad for her,” Laura said. “So I sent her a message with a screenshot of our conversation telling her that I was really sorry, but I thought she deserved to know how her boyfriend was behaving towards other women.
“I know if the roles were reversed and it was my boyfriend sending that shit out, I would want to know.”
The pair have made it a regular thing: Click on the men’s profiles, see if they have a partner, and send a message. Sometimes they take a screengrab of the wife’s or girlfriend’s profile and send it back to the men.
I have noticed since posting my responses as a warning that the number has been significantly lower. I think my followers are slowly getting the message.”

The pair don’t always hear a response back from the girlfriends or wives. However, when they contact the men with photos of their partners’ profile page, the reaction is usually a “panicked apology.”

PDP Secretary, Aluko, Reveals How Jonathan Spent N4.7bn To Rig Ekiti Election (Details)

Secret documents detailing how Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, together with former Minister of State for Defense Musiliu Obanikoro and others, used more than $35 million (N4.7 billion) from arms funds disbursed from the Office of the National Security Adviser, headed by Sambo Dasuki, to election has been exposed.

In addition to documents provided, the Secretary of the Ekiti State Chapter of the PDP, Mr TK Aluko who is the former right-hand-man to Governor Fayose, revealed how he was instrumental in both the successful rigging of the Ekiti gubernatorial election and Fayose’s political ascent.

Mr. Aluko’s knowledge of the Ekiti election is also because he was Mr. Fayose’s Chief Returning Officer, who signed the results on his behalf. How did it all happen?

Mr. Aluko disclosed to SR that plotting to rig the Ekiti gubernatorial election for Mr. Fayose began as early as March 23rd, 2014 when former President Goodluck Jonathan ordered Anambra state politician Ifeanyi Uba to release $2 million to Fayose following the primary election in Ekiti state.

“Fayose knew from the beginning of his gubernatorial ambition that he wanted to use the military and funding from the presidency to rig the election. He had much of the idea already in his mind,” Mr. Aluko revealed to our reporter.

Following their first meeting with Mr. Jonathan, Mr. Fayose, and Mr. Aluko received $2 million from Mr. Uba in “100 dollar denominations.” They used this money for when they returned to Ekiti, according to Mr. Aluko’s account.

Documents in SaharaReporters’ possession, and accounts by Mr. Aluko, reveal that the next meeting between Mr. Fayose and Mr. Jonathan took place in April during a council meeting. However, “we [Fayose and Aluko] knew that we needed a coalition of support to convince Mr. Jonathan to provide funding and military support.”

It was then that Fayose, together with Aluko, reached out to Obanikoro and Jelili Adesiyan, Minister of Police Affairs in 2014, to aid in convincing Jonathan to support Fayose’s gubernatorial bid.

“The coalition of Obanikoro, Adesiyan, and Fayose worked to convince Jonathan that the Southwest was his key to securing his presidential election in 2015,” Mr. Aluko explained.

Mr. Fayose, Mr. Aluko, Mr. Obanikoro, and Mr. Adesiyan met with other top PDP leaders, the military chiefs, and Mr. Jonathan in April. These leaders included Osun State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Iyolia Omisore, PDP Chairman Adamu Mu’azu; the Chief of Defense Staff Alex Badeh, Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Kenneth Minimah, and others.

By the end of the meeting, “the political leaders all convinced Jonathan that the continuity of his tenure in office depended on him providing military and financial support to Fayose during his race,” Mr. Aluko explained.

On June 11th, ten days before the Ekiti State gubernatorial poll, Mr. Fayose met again with President Jonathan, Mr. Obanikoro, Mr. Omisore, Mr. Badeh, General Minimah and the Chairman of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) Engineer Jide Adeniyi to discuss the election plot.

According to Mr. Aluko, “President Jonathan looked at Badeh and Minimah and said that ‘Fayose will stand for me as Commander -In-Chief.’”

The message was clear to the men in the room, that the election shall be delivered for Fayose by hook or crook,” Mr. Aluko added.

At this meeting it was decided that “the ONSA will empower Obanikoro and Fayose with $35 million [N4.7 billion] for the election.”

Mr. Aluko said that Mr. Obanikoro promptly delivered the huge sum of money to Ekiti State on June 17th, the following Tuesday. He added that Mr. Fayose “signed and authorized that transfer of money from Obanikoro. However, only Obanikoro can produce that paper with Fayose's signature.”

“This money was used to be shared among people to help buy and rig the election in Ekiti, with the military getting paid first,” Mr. Aluko stated. He added that money was paid to everybody, including members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), “we paid individuals, LGA Chairman, members of the National Civil Defense Corps, and other security agencies—but the military was first.”

According to the payment scheme provided, the military was paid substantial sums of money to facilitate the rigging in Ekiti State. Each military strike team, in Hilux vans, was given N1 million to facilitate in repressing voters and delivering the election for Fayose. Money was also given to voter blockage teams, PDP leaders, “special Ekiti leaders” like religious figures and opinion makers, as well as election observer groups.

The funding template for Ekiti East, obtained by SaharaReporters, brandishes Mr. Fayose’s signature at the end and details how much money each Ekiti State politician would receive. The document shows that each Party Agent would receive N20,000 (totaling N1.9 million), Returning Officers at ward level would receive N50,000 (totaling N600,000), Returning Officers at LGA level would receive N100,000 (totaling N100,000), Ward Chairmen would receive N250,000 each (totaling N3 million), and each of the 95 polling unit officials would receive N200,000 (totaling N19 million).

The documents obtained by SaharaReporters also details the extensive military organization, concocted with the leadership Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, involving no less than 24 security teams-at least 1,700 heavily armed security agents-cross Ekiti State including DSS agents, NSDC personnel, and various military units.

The day of the election, due to the careful planning by former President Jonathan, Mr. Obanikoro, Mr. Fayose, Mr. Momoh, and others allowed Mr. Fayose to ascend unlawfully to the State governorship. Mr. Aluko described election day in Ekiti as “feeling like a coup” as the military and politicians hijacked polling units, abducted opposition members, and restricted the movement of citizens.

In addition to these revelations, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that the office of the National Security Adviser under Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd) did remit N4.7billion naira through an account at Diamond Bank controlled by two sons of Obanikoro -Gbolahan and Babajide between June-December 2014.

*There are also some leaked documents detailing the military organization and payment scheme.

Surprise as Dickson's sister is still held 42 days after abduction...

Residents have expressed surprise that Nancy Keme Dickson, the abducted younger sister to Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson, has spent over 42 days with her assailants.
The 26-year-old, who is said to be the last child of the Dicksons, was abducted on December 19, last year, by gunmen. She was seized at her shop on Okaka Road in Yenagoa, the state capital.

Nancy was abducted after the December 5, 2015 governorship election and a few weeks to the January 9 supplementary poll, which Dickson won and became the re-elected governor.

Nancy was missing when her family celebrated the governor’s victory at the poll. She may also miss Dickson’s inauguration on February 14.
Many people criticised Dickson for his alleged indifference to his sister’s plight and expressed fears that her captors might subject her to various assaults.

A source close to the governor said Dickson was not disposed to paying any ransom to free his sister.
The source, who spoke in confidence, noted that Dickson had ordered his family not to pay ransom to Nancy’s abductors.
He recalled that the governor took a similar action when gunmen abducted the mother of a commissioner in his administration.
The source added:
“The governor does not believe in paying ransom to kidnappers. When his mother was kidnapped, the abductors demanded ransom but the governor turned down their request. They kept the woman until they became tired and set her free.

Metuh’s torn statement linked Jonathan to N400m –EFCC

Following the charge of destruction of evidence filed against him, details have emerged about what the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, allegedly wrote in the torn statement while in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on January 5.

The court papers obtained by Punch on Sunday indicate that five operatives of the commission witnessed the incident which was said to have happened on January 5, 2016, the day the PDP spokesperson was arrested.

The entry number 049 in the incident duty log which was recorded at 4.30pm by an EFCC detective, Junaid Sa’id, on January 5, 2016, reads,

“Destruction OF Written Statement: I have booked the incident of tearing into pieces of statement by Mr. Olisa Metuh, who was given his statement to endorse after volunteering his statement and he decided to tear into pieces the third page of his four-page statement.
“The torn statement has however been registered with the Exhibit Keeper. Entry made by Det. Junaid Sa’id.”
The document gives the timeline and details of how Metuh’s arrest was effected at about 10.55am in his residence at Prince and Princess Estate in Gudu, Abuja, on January 5, up till when he allegedly tore part of the statement at about.4.25pm on the same day.
It also indicates that Metuh had stated in the part of the torn statement that the account in which the N400m was paid was requested for by former President Goodluck Jonathan, for payments to be made to settle some debts owed by the PDP.
It reads in part,
“12.30 hours: Mr. Metuh Olisa began to volunteer his statement under words of caution.
“15.30 hours: Mr. Metuh Olisa concluded his statement which was of four pages. I passed the statements to the team leader, CSP Ibrahim Musa, to read over and endorse accordingly but in the process of reading and after endorsing pages one and two, he swiftly tore into pieces page three of his statement which read that former President Jonathan had asked him to make available, account details owed by his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, and the debts owed him personally and some media houses.
“He further stated that he gave the account details of Destra Investments Ltd. to the President and thereafter he received the payment of N400m into his company’s accounts which he used for specific assignments given to him by the President of which he was not willing to disclose for what purpose.
“I thereafter refused to give him page four of his statement for endorsement because I did not want him to tear it as well. This incidence (sic) happened in the presence of the following officers: Mr. Ibrahim Musa, Mr. Wetkas Michael, Mr. Bello Umar, Ms. Ibrahim, who were all carrying out their various assignments.
“16.30 hours: The torn page of the statement which is in pieces was registered with the exhibit keeper and the incident recorded in the incidence record book of the commission.”
