Presidency blocking Amaechi from Completing Rivers Monorail
You guys know that I don't support bad acts, right? Why should anybody in the Presidency be using his or her official power to stop such a laudable project like the Rivers State monorail from being completed by not allowing clearance for the remaining equipment needed for Governor Amaech's biggest project to begin operation?

You can now get Tinted Glass Permit from Police Commissioner
The Inspector General of Police is coming out with some very good reforms to give the Nigeria police force a truly human face by decentralizing those things that shouldn't really be an Abuja affair. Those who need permit for Tinted Glasses on their vehicles can now get same from the state Commissioner of Police where they reside, without going all the way to Abuja. The new IGP has started on a good note!

During the incident that happened at about 5.46 pm on Thursday, four year- old Omoniho Isaac Abraham narrowly escaped death, as the dogs pulled out his skull.
Omoniho is currently on admission at the intensive care section of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, Lagos.
The two elder brothers to the victim whose ages range between seven and 12 years were also injured as they jumped from upstairs to evade the dogs’ attack.
Daily Independent investigation revealed that Jegede and his two dogs had been arrested and detained at the Igando Police Station.
Narrating the incident to Daily Independent at the LASUTH premises on Monday, Abraham, father of the children, said that his wife went to buy something for the children, and that shortly after she left, the children came downstairs with their bicycles to play as he lives upstairs.
But unknown to them, the giant dogs belonging to the landlord’s brother (Stanley Jegede) were not chained.
“Immediately they came down, two of the dogs chased them. The third dog was chained. They ran back up stairs, but the dogs chased them up, three of them ran up, but the dogs still attacked them forcing the other two who were 12 and seven years old to jump down leaving their younger one who could not jump. They sustained fracture injury on the legs. The dogs pounced on the boy, tore his skull and battered his face”.
He added that sympathizers who were helpless had to call in the police.
He said that even with that, no one could go in for fear of attack by the dogs, until his wife rushed back after she received a distress call.
“Nobody could go in, including the police, but my wife had to summon courage and defy the dogs’ barking and threat to go in and saw her son in the pool of his own blood, carried him and rushed out of the house. She was then accompanied by the police to Igando general hospital from where they were referred to LASUTH.

Now to the present saga. Information has emerged that actress Ini Edo's marriage has crashed...
Ini, who got married to her American-based businessman, Phillip in 2008, was said to have snatched him from another beautiful lady. And the lady is still angry with her, as at the last time we checked.
Since 2008, she hasn't been able to give her man a child yet she is accusing him of cheating. Smh!
Here's what a source told Stella on the saga: “I am sorry to break your hearts but what must be told must be told. This report is authentic and you can take it to the Bank.
“A close friend of the actress squealed that the marriage broke down due to very strong allegations of ‘serial cheating with evidence’ but that the couple who are pretending to still be in talking terms might cite irreconcilable differences.
“The source alleged that Phillips Ehiagwina demanded to have back the bride price he paid to marry Ini Edo and his wishes were granted by her people.”
Marriages will begin to last, when today's ladies learn to know that they are not equal with men. Gbam!
TB Joshua's Collapsed Building has Approval for 12-Storey
Some people have been lieing that TB Joshua's church increased a two-storey building to six-storey and that such is responsible for the collapse of the building. But latest information indicates that is not true.
About two weeks after the collapse of a guest house at Synagogue church in Lagos, a fresh indication emerged on Monday that the church got an approval for a 12-storey building from Lagos State government.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Mr. Ken Emeakayi, an aide to Prophet T.B Joshua, refuted reports that the building had no approval.
He said: “It is not true and I stand to be corrected. I want to also point out that whosoever said that was not saying the correct thing, because I also listened to a commissioner of Lagos State, when he came to your studio. He said that when he got there, he discovered that there was no approval for the building, meaning that he has not been there before and there was nothing of such. Yes, the church had approval.”
When asked if the church had shown the approval to Lagos Government authorities, he said:
“Yes, of course. Officials of Lagos State Government have been there severally. They have even come to look at other buildings in the church premises. So, there is no additional structure to the building. We are talking of a building that is on its own. We have the pictures. It’s a new structure.
“The building is still under construction, but it is not as if it is an attachment to the church auditorium. It is a building standing on its own and in a different compound. It is a guest house. It is a building that has its own design and approval. This particular structure in question, has an approval for 12-storey building and they have even come to examine the foundation and its casting after this incident. They have therefore seen that it was done with the specification of a 12-storey building.”
When contacted, Lagos Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Toyin Ayinde, declined comment on the matter saying, “there will be no further comment on the collapsed Synagogue building until investigations into the matter are concluded and the report made public.”

Governor Babatunde Fashola has declared that the government is conducting thorough investigation to by all means unravel the facts surrounding the strange collapse of the building owned by the Synagogue. According to the governor, “we are acting methodically on the issue.”

After seven years in prison, 26-year-old Iranian woman who killed a man she claims was trying to rape her will be hanged tomorrow morning.
According to Amnesty International, Iranian authorities confirmed that Reyhaneh Jabbari will be hanged .
Jabbari’s mother said today in a Facebook post that prison authorities told her she would have to go to the facility to 'collect the body' tomorrow.

A married Premier League footballer who already has three children by his wife and mistress has just taken a second bride in his native Cote'Ivoire.
Cheick Tiote, 28, who earns £45,000 a week playing for Newcastle United, reportedly wed Laeticia Doukrou in a traditional ceremony earlier this month, saying taking another wife was 'nothing unusual' given he is a Muslim.
But news of the second wedding came as a surprise to his first wife, Madah, 25, who is said to have only found out about it on Facebook. Madah, who lives with Tiote and their two children in a £1.5million house in Ponteland, Newcastle, reportedly fainted with shock when she saw the photographs of her husband marrying another woman.

While she was said to have been 'comfortable' with his being married, she apparently decided to call the relationship off because he 'used me like a mop'.
