Man Live Streams his shootout with Police on Facebook
The man has not been identified and is still in a serious condition in hospital. One police officer was shot in the crossfire and is in a stable condition.
He was one of four men wanted by LAPD officers in connection with a murder on March 31. The police were in the middle of serving the warrants in Hawthorne on Wednesday when he fled in his car.
Officers gave chase and followed him in a police cruiser until he abruptly stopped and ran out of the vehicle, tearing through apartment complexes while firing back at them.
This is when he began filming himself on his cell-phone. The footage was shared by ABC 7 on Thursday.
'I know I'm dying today. Mommah, I love you. My kids, I love you,' he said as gunshots rang out.
Later in the video, he said: 'They're about to kill me. They got me.' The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
He is expected to be charged in connection with the March 31 killing.
The shootout sparked chaos in the neighborhood, which is largely residential, and stalled traffic for several hours.

64yrs Old Grandma Sentenced to 25 Years in Lagos for Drug Trafficking
Trial judge, Justice Hadizat Rabiu-Shagari sentenced the convict, who is also known as Ariyo Monsurat Olabisi, after she changed her plea in an amended five counts of the charge.
She was arraigned on three counts charge of conspiracy, unlawful possession of banned drug, and attempt to export the said banned drug to Saudi Arabia.
The Lagos socialite, Ariket, is facing charges bordering on conspiracy, aiding and abetting and procuring of the said banned drug for the convict. The two accused persons had pleaded not guilty when they were both arraigned before the court, sometimes in May, this year.
However, at the resumed trial of the two accused persons yesterday, the convict, Omolara, through her lawyer, Mr. King Wilson, informed the court of her intention to change her plea, particularly, on count four of the charge, which bothered on attempt to export 1.595kg of Cocaine to Saudi Arabia.
Her request was granted by Justice Rabiu-Shagari, who ordered the charge be read to her again. Upon the re-read of the charge, the convict pleaded guilty. Justice Rabiu-Shagari consequently sentenced her to 25 years imprisonment, starting from when she was first arrested.

Ogun college suspends lecturer for impregnating nursing student
The suspension was posted on a notice board at the administration block of the college, where the academic community was asked not to have any dealings with him.
PUNCH Metro had reported that Adu and Mosunmola had sex in a hotel sometime in August 2016, and she eventually got pregnant.
Adu, who is married with two children agreed to pay Mosunmola a monthly stipend of N5,000 in addition to N7,000 for her ante-natal registration.
Within two months, the agreement broke down after Mosunmola presented a list of items required for her delivery, which she valued at N50,000.
Adu was said to have refused the payment, saying she wanted to turn him to a cash-cow.Mosunmola was later delivered of a baby boy at the General Hospital, Epe.
The college spokesperson, Ayodele Alaga, confirmed the development.
He said, “It is true. The suspension is indefinite. We have severed relationship with him. He was an adjunct lecturer. We will await the final outcome of the investigation by the ministry of health.”

This feud till date, ranks amongst the top 3 feuds the in the history of celebrity feuds in Nigeria. This long fought entertaining feud started with 9ice's ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY record, a record which immediately birthed rumors that a certain line from the record pointed accusatory fingers at Ruggedman for betraying his friend 9ice, by laying with his wife, Toni Payne. While Nigerians tore into Ruggedman, calling him all sorts of name and threatening to have his ars* checked, the rapper managed to maintain his peace and silence until, peace seemed like a weakling's attribute, thus began trips to the studio that produced diss tracks upon diss tracks which till date, is some of the best the nation has heard.
M.I Vs Kelly Hansome
Kelly Hansome, during his time as an ''artiste'' did one thing and one thing well, snag a spot on Nigerians top 3 most controversial artistes, a title he represented so well until he got to the end of the road. Mr Hansome, cared less whose ox was gored during this period with mind bulging act which had thousands wondering if his years of experience and age as at then, were all for jokes.

This conflict started brewing with the release of Nigeria's top 10 rap artistes list by a popular music blog, which saw admittedly brillaint rapper, Godwon and a few notable names missing. Not one to be publicly insulted like that, Godwon all riled up, took to social media to vent where he went all out, cussing and puffing all so he could be heard, in the end, making himself a mortal enemy. In his bid to show just how hurt he felt about some rappers being unjustly omitted and a few who made the list but didn't deserve to, he went on a rant, making an enemy of Saucekid in the process.

Reminisce Vs Vector
The rap game is never complete without a diss track and this is exactly the case between these two great rap acts who tore each other to pieces via their diss tracks. Nigerians were treated to an epic/enjoyable not so enjoyable rap war between these two lords when Vector, made the first move by coming for Reminisce who was definitely in no mood to be disrespected by anyone, talk more Vector. The feud started when Vector decided on taking a jab at Reminisce via his verse on Saucekid's song Kitchen Street, a jab, Reminisce took to heart, replying in no time with his diss tracks ATA . Peace seemed to reign for a while as Vector declined any attempt at commenting on the situation except for his subliminal insults to Reminisce via twitter. But of course peace was far from the case as Vector went on a vengeful ride in Distractions by A-Q, shredding Reminisce to pieces with his bars and punchline.
Don Jazzy Vs Olamide
The year 2016, started wonderfully with two highly celebrated industry goons locked in a hot war of word, a feud which started at the Headies Award show that year. Trouble began when Mavin's Reekado Banks won the award in the Next Rated Artiste Category at the 2015 Headies Awards, an honour which did not sit well with YBNL boss, Olamide, who thought his artiste, Lil Kesh, deserved to win giving the fact that the young rapper had churned out hits upon hits in barely a year into the game. His pain was made known when he took to the stage with his entire YBNL crew, to say a few words of appreciation after another artiste of the label, Adekunle Gold as announced winner of Best Alternative act for his song, Shade.
His words after successfully taking the shine off of the Adekunle Gold:
“Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that sh*t! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back. From lyrically, to Shoki to Efejoku. Ko ni dafun Iya anybody. ”
Don Jazzy, of course had his own response all cooked when he took to the stage to receive The Special Recognition Award. His response:
“I came out here to support my children. As they were trying to present the award, Reekado Banks was performing at Ali Baba’s show. I have already told my children that I will buy cars for all of them.
“Egbon Olamide, if you want the car, come and collect it”, Don Jazzy added. (The 2015 Headies Next Rated Artiste Award winner goes home with a Hyundai SUV car).
This of course did not end there as series of angry tweets and threats flew from Olamide's camp to Don Jazzy's, with the rapper stating categorically it be best if the music producer never steps foot on the mainland.

Top authorities in the Lagos Police Command have summoned an emergency stakeholders meeting with the leaders of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) led by its National Leader, Otunba Gani Adams and other vigilante groups.
The meeting as our source revealed to us, is geared towards combating incessant kidnapping and cultism attacks in Ikorodu axis of the state.
Pictures revealed that those present at the brainstorming session include OPC National Leader, Otunba Gani Adams, OPC New Era leader – Mr Rasak Arogundade; the Onyabo leader – Mr Kamorudeen Bombata, as well as other vigilante group leaders in the area.
Vice Principal bags life imprisonment for raping 12-year-old pupil
The convict was the Vice Principal (Academics) at the time he committed the offence on March 18, 2014.
It was learnt that Ajayi lured the girl into his office, locked the door from behind and raped her on the table while blocking her mouth with a cloth. One of the teachers knocked the door but the convict refused to open the door and threatened her not to tell anybody.
Two teachers stormed the victim’s office finding the door locked but gained entrance after about 30 minutes and to their shock find the vice principal having carnal knowledge of the girl,Punch reports
Two panels set up to investigate the matter indicted Ajayi and he was subsequently suspended from service and later arrested and arraigned in court.

Basori says he was not always celebrated for his short stature - and had to overcome bullying in his younger years - but has now been dubbed a 'hero' by his proud family.
And Basori himself is quite happy with his unusual stature.
He said: 'I don't have a problem with my height. I work, live and sleep like other people. I also eat like normal people.
'Whatever I am is okay. I don't face any problems because of my height.'
But Basori had faced prejudice over his height earlier on in life.
As a toddler there was nothing to distinguish Basouri from his peers, and it was only around age five that his family started to notice he wasn't growing.
The family's economic situation meant that Basori was never given a medical diagnosis, and to this day his relatives have no idea what caused him to be so short.
Gopi said: 'Nobody was able to take him to a doctor. We are poor people, I am a labourer. Where would I take him?'
As Basori grew older, he encountered some tough times and experienced some bullying in his village, but thankfully those days are past.
He said: 'People used to bully me a lot. They used to call me an alien. But that time is gone now. I am the only one who is being loved by the villagers.'
Now, at the age of 50, Basori lives with his brother Gopi and Gopi's wife Satia.
He also works with his sister-in-law in a local factory, and she is keen to pay tribute to her tiny brother-in-law.
Satia, also aged 50, said: 'Basori is a man with positive thinking. He doesn't have any regret of being short. It doesn't bother him.
'All he needs is happiness, good people around him, and a good whiskey!'
Now, Basori is content to spend his life living with his brother and working in the factory to earn more money for the family.
He said: 'I don't want to get married. I want to work like I am doing right now. I always want to live with my brother.'
Indeed, Basori is so happy with his height that he drinks a special toast to it each evening before bed.
He said: 'I need a glass of whiskey before I go to sleep. That's my way of celebration.'

Policeman rapes own daughter at station for 'provoking' him
The 58-year-old assistant sub inspector from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is thought to have attacked her in a police station.
The officer who was said to be within three days of his retirement, is also alleged to have beaten up his 35-year-old daughter’s husband.
The woman had been abused by her father as a teenager, The Times of India reported, This ended when she married.
"I thought my father must have changed in so many years, but I was proved wrong," she is said to have told officers.
Police sources told the newspaper that the officer admitted the rape and it was done because his daughter “provoked” him. Fellow officers expressed shock at the alleged crime.
EFCC Arrests NABDA'S Director General For N23Million Scam
Ogbadu was arrested on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following her alleged linkage with the Bayelsa State's Director of Bioresources Development Centre, Mr. Josiah Habu, who is being investigated by the EFCC in a case of fraudulent diversion of the sum of N75million.
Investigations by the EFCC showed that Ogbadu allegedly received the sum of N23million through a bank account belonging to the wife of Habu, Mrs. Esther Habu and admitted same in a voluntary statement made to the EFCC.
Further investigations have also shown that, Mrs Esther Habu is one of the contractors with Bioresources Development Centre, Odi, Bayelsa State and a total sum of N603m has been traced to her, in different deals involving over 20 Directors of Bioresources Development Centres across the country. .
Ogbadu's linkage with all these scams is being investigated. She has been duly served with bail conditions while investigations continue.
