Fellowship Of Nigerian Churches Raise Prayer Warriors Against Ebola Virus

Following the outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in the country, churches in Anambra State under the auspices of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) have raised prayer warriors to fight against the spread of the virus.

Bbriefing reporters on Friday at Gelly’s Gardens resort in Awka, the state chairman of Social Security Outreach (SSO), a political arm of (PFN), Evangelist Peter A.K Okoye, said very soon the virus would be a thing of the past.

He said with the efforts of the Federal and State governments and the combined prayers by the churches, that the battle would soon end.

Also, the chairman media group of (SSO), Pastor Emma Obiorah, told Newsday reporter in Awka yesterday that intercessors had been set up from different churches to checkmate the spread of the virus.

“Ebola is just a name given to one sickness out of many, but Christians have started praying that God will heal all, including the so called deadly virus,” he said.
