11-year-old Ashanti Elliott-Smith, a pupil at Oakmeeds Community College, West Sussex is suffering from a rare terminally ill disease alopecia which causes her body to age eight times faster than normal. With the disease Ashanti is not expected to live past the age of 15 :(
The condition also causes symptoms including stunted growth, hair loss, weight loss, wrinkled skin, stiff joints, and heart disease.
