Girl dies in kidnappers custody after being administered hypnotic powder(Photo)



 Three suspected kidnappers are in police net for allegedly killing an 11-year-old- girl, Aminat Ishola, after kidnapping her from her father’s company.

The suspects, Babatunde Aderonmu, 21; Sina Damilare, 40, and Taofeek Kola, 50,  reportedly kidnapped the primary five pupil girl at Arugudu, Ijoko-Ota area of Sango in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state on May 21 and subsequently moved her to Osun Jegede, Ogbere area of Ibadan in Oyo State, where she was held captive.

According to the Police PRO in the state,the mastermind of the kidnap is Babatunde Aderounmu, a former employee of the victim’s father at his bakery.

He said the girl died after one of the suspects, Taofeek Kola, who claimed to be an alfa, administered a powdery sub-stance on her to hypnotise her.
Adejobi said:

 “After the girl had died, they packed her corpse into a sack and dumped the sack opposite Ogbere Police Station in Ibadan.The following day, a woman whose shop is close to the police station, noticed the sack and called the attention of the police. The DPO ordered the opening of the sack and the corpse was discovered. he said

It has been taken to a morgue.“We have carried out an autopsy on the girl and we are awaiting the result. We have gathered that the suspects had contacted the parents of the girl and had demanded N2 million ransom before they could release the girl.“They agreed on N300,000, following the intervention of the police. 
One Lasisi Olalekan reported the case of the missing girl to the police and the officers had commenced investigation on the matter, leading to the arrest of the lead suspect, Babatunde Aderounmu.The suspect had sent the account number of a prophetess, who they claimed had prayed for them before, to the parents.The suspects have confessed that they employed the service of an Alfa who administered a substance on the girl, which led to her death and later dumped her remains very close to the Divisional Police Station at Ogbere Tioya in Ibadan.”He concluded
