Marriage Troubles: Toyin Aimahku Runs To Church

This is the right way to go; any lady who decide to live a wayward life because she's having issues with her husband will just be destroying herself. Men and women are not and can never be the same. Don't expect your hubby to be your equal, rather love him sincerely and he will be stupid to do otherwise.

Embattled actress Toyin Aimakhu, who is between ending her marriage and trying again, has said she has now given her life to Christ in other to have peace and rest. Best decision ever! Her words:

"You can have eyes wide open and see things but if you are blinded spiritually, there is limit to what you can see, it is more or less you are even blind. It takes the grace of God to make any human see from both ends, hmmmm! I will share my testimony soon.
HAVE YOU GIVEN YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST? Have you re-dedicated to him. Tomorrow might be too late, why don't you do it now. Go on your KNEES and talk to him and I am sure he will listen. JESUS loves you. #NEWBEGINNING #NEWLIFE #HOPEINCHRIST"

Boko Haram Comes Out in Full Force, Burns down Army Base; Soldiers Run Into Bush

A report from the north eastern Nigerian state of Adamawa says Boko Haram burned down a military base on Sunday night as soldiers fled into the bush on sighting them coming with full force.

The Associated Press (AP) said in a report from Yola that only local fighters prevented the insurgents from retaking Gulak, the headquarters of Madagali Local Government area of Adamawa State.
James Ularamu, ex-chairman of the council, told AP the brave civilian fighters held Gulak town after the soldiers ran away, until the military sent reinforcements who then fought off the extremists. By that time, the base had been burned down.

“Sunday night's attack came as a military intelligence officer confirmed that 107 soldiers remain missing nearly two weeks after a Nov. 19 battle,” the report said. The Nigerian Army has denied that the soldiers were missing.

“Premium Times newspaper first reported the soldiers from the 157 Battalion, including their commanding officer, were missing in action along with the tank, three artillery guns and eight trucks including one carrying 60,000 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

It added that an army officer who spoke on condition of anonymity said that Boko Haram also drove off with an army T-72 tank and dozens of new camouflage uniforms. According to AP, the military has reported that it destroyed dozens of Boko Haram camps and freed more than 1,000 kidnap victims in recent weeks.

“But Boko Haram has stepped up the tempo and range of its attacks, with raids and suicide bombings in the past week in Niger, Cameroon and northern Nigeria.

“Early Sunday the extremists kidnapped dozens of girls and set ablaze hundreds of buildings in Bam in Borno state, said resident Mallam Ali.”

Read What Pastor Bakare Has To Say About Asiwaju Tinubu

This cannot be denied tomorrow by anyone because it's an interview with PM News in Lagos. Read:

When we look at the campaign of PMB, we saw Asiwaju Tinubu as his backbone, he played a leading role in the emergence of Buhari as President. Recently in the church, I heard I wasn’t there, that you attacked Jonathan and Tinubu and when I look at your comment on Tinubu, I see that you always attack him, I want to ask, why?
Well, you told me you were not there, hearsay evidence are not feasible in court. Since you were not there, I would have asked you to go listen to the tape and come back because sometimes what looks like an attack is truth.

Why would I attack Asiwaju? Talking of politics, he has paid his dues...
People were not there when I preached the message and that really celebrated Tinubu. That he single handedly fought the PDP to a standstill in the southwest. I sent him the tape. Do you understand me? Again this is our society, the moment you focus on issues, they reduce it to personalities. May I ask you the question maybe that would throw light on areas that you call criticisms by those who do not know the difference between critique and a negative comment. Shall I pray for you that your children will not be greater than you? Will you say amen to that. So if God has used you to facilitate the emergence of someone who now performs better than you, shouldn’t you be happy.

My mother is a happy woman, she didn’t go to school but she sent me. And today she is at peace with herself that she has worked hard and worked well and I give her the honour. You may never meet my mother but you have met the letter she has written to the world. It not a letter written with ink and pen. Do you understand me. I don’t have any problem with Asiwaju. On 3rd of November 2014 I was in Asiwaju’s house and I said to him ‘Asiwaju, there are only four things left that I am pursuing in this world, and none of them is in your hands, my mother is 106, her prayer is that I should survive her and give her a befitting burial.

Asiwaju, can you guarantee my being alive to do that?’ he said he can’t. No 2: ‘Asiwaju, I want to stay in health while waiting to give my mother a befitting burial, can any human being guarantee that?’ Nobody. I have five children by the grace of God, I want them to be greater than I am, and I don’t want them to go before me, ‘can you guarantee that?’

And finally I said I want to make heaven at the end, and to hear, ‘good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord your God’ can you guarantee that? he can’t. So why the basis of competition, what I am looking for is not in your hand. Am not looking for power, I am not looking for position, I am not looking for appointment. Can’t you understand that? I have never done contract in my life.

So there is no basis for attacking Asiwaju except in the figment of the imagination of some people. But something touched me, and when matters are brought to me, I look at some of them, I take them all, sometimes I don’t bother myself because you must not fight every battle and lose the world.

Pastor marries pregnant girlfriend with wife’s blessing (Photos)

A 60-year-old pastor has married his 19-year-old girlfriend with the full support of his 44-year-old wife - and now his teen bride is pregnant.Thom Miller, is now building a new house in their hometown of Mansfield, Ohio, with one wing for each wife.

Belinda, 44, and Reba, 19, claim to both be perfectly happy with a life of polygamy, but Reverend Miller stresses that he is the only person in their relationship allowed to have more than one partner
The whole situation works for all three of us,” Thom Miller told Barcroft Media.

“I am the only one who is allowed to have more than one partner — and both of my wives understand and appreciate that.“It means they always have a friend with them.”

Miller met his 19-year-old gal pal, Reba Kerfootruba, seven years after he married his wife, Belinda.

“I wanted to have more of a family — having another lady in the house not only makes our family whole but individually it’s a beautiful thing because it’s like having a sister around,”

 Belinda said.

“Thom is the love of my life and Reba is the blessing of my life, so it all works.”

Reba said her arrangement with a married couple initially troubled her family and friends, but now they support her.She admitted that she doesn’t love sharing her man with another woman.

“But I try not to get jealous and when it’s not my time with Thom, I just try to occupy myself by going out with friends,” Reba told Barcroft. “The baby will have two moms, which I’m okay with.”

And while Miller’s ladies are both on board with their love triangle, his church in Mansfield, Ohio, isn’t.

“I don’t preach about polygamy, but I feel it’s a very Christian lifestyle,”“This is America and my wives and I have a right to live any way we please, providing we’re not hurting anybody.”We just want the opportunity to live together and have our marriages recognized,” he said.

Miller turned to Christianity after he spent seven years in jail for stabbing someone during a bar fight following years as a member of the mob, according to the news outlet.

Masked gunmen abduct suspect from Lagos police station

The whereabouts of a 26-year-old youth, Waidi Kabiru, had been a mystery since Sunday, November 23, after he was reportedly whisked away from the custody of the Igbogbo Police Station, Lagos State, by a three-man gang.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the three gang members, who put on masks, had sneaked into the station around 1am on Sunday and bundled him out of the cell to an unknown place.
It was learnt that Waidi, a musician, was arrested by a team of policemen who raided Shelewu Road, in the Ikorodu area of the state on Friday, November 21.

The state police command confirmed Waidi’s arrest, but said he had been released on bail. The command, however, did not disclose the surety to whom the youth was released.
Waidi’s father, Mr. Bisiriyu Kabiru, said he had been visiting his son since Friday when he was arrested, adding that he had gone to the station to give him food on Sunday only to be told that he was no longer inside the cell.
He said, “He called me on the phone around 9am on Friday that he was arrested during a raid and I went to the station to see him. One of the policemen I met asked me how much I had to bail him out and I said N4,000. But he told me it wasn’t enough and I left. I later came back with N5,000, but I was told that the DPO had taken over the case.
“On Saturday, I brought food for him (Waidi) at the station and was there till the evening, trying to secure his bail. When I got there on Sunday to give him food, the policemen at the counter said he had gone out with the DPO. But I was not allowed to see the DPO. I later learnt that he was whisked out of the cell early Sunday morning by three men who were masked. It was on Monday that I decided to inform his mother.”
Waidi’s mother, Karimat Adebanbi, said she went to the station on Monday and was shown a register containing details of suspects.
According to her, the record reads that Waidi was nabbed during a raid, but had been released.
The mother said the policemen directed her to the DPO when she demanded to know the person that stood as a surety for him. She added that her efforts to meet with the DPO were frustrated by his men.
She said, “The policemen I met at the station called my son from the cell, but nobody answered. They checked the register and saw his name there, indicating that he had been released on bail. I asked them who stood as a surety for him, but they refused to tell me. They told me to look for him at his friends’ houses. We don’t know his whereabouts and his number is switched off.“I went to the station again on Thursday and Saturday to see the DPO; they said he was not around. I called him several times before he picked his call. He said he was somewhere and told me to wait. I waited for hours but he did not come back.”
Our correspondent gathered that the family had also petitioned the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, through an activist, Prince Akinsemoyin, to investigate Waidi’s disappearance from the cell.
The petition also requested the CP to quiz the DPO and policemen involved in the case to unravel the circumstances surrounding the youth’s disappearance.
It read in part, “I wish to bring to your attention that up till now, the whereabouts of Waidi Kabiru is still unknown. We strongly suspect a foul play in this matter. The time has come to critically investigate the DPO and the role the DPO played in this case. If he has been released, to whom? On what grounds was he released to the surety and what offence was he arrested for?
“We would like the police to produce the surety or else the policemen involved in this matter need to explain his sudden disappearance from Igbogbo police’s custody. This incident is capable of bringing the image of the police to disrepute. We hereby request a full scale investigation into this matter.”
The Lagos State police spokesperson, DSP Joe Offor, said Waidi was not abducted from the cell, insisting that he had been released on bail. He, however, said he did not have the knowledge of the name of the surety.
He said, “It was not true that he was abducted. The suspect was released on bail to an identifiable person. The DPO said he had the name of the surety, but he did not disclose the name of the person to me.”

Secret Arms Deal: EFCC arrests ex-minister, ex-governor's son

The EFCC’s Special Task Force on the alleged $2bn arms procurement scandal probe on Monday stepped up its tempo with the arrest of a former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda.

The anti-graft agency also arrested the son of a former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, and the son of a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Haliru Bello, who is also a former Minister of Defence in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Investigations revealed that the former minister was picked up in Abuja by men of the 27-member task force on the arms probe set up by the new Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.

He was taken to the Idiagbon House Headquarters of the commission by 4pm on Monday. He was still in interrogation for alleged complicity in the arms procurement deal as of the time of posting.

A top operative of the commission said the ex-minister of state was picked up because operatives allegedly traced N1.5bn to him.

He was also said to have received N1.275bn from the Stallion Group during the last general elections.

The source added that the commission arrested Sagir Bafarawa, a son of the former Sokoto State Governor, Attahiru Bafarawa, for allegedly receiving N4.6m from the Office of the National Security Adviser at that time, Col. Sambo Dasuki.

It was learnt that the operatives decided to go after the junior Bafarawa because of the belief that he acted as a front for his father in the arms deals under probe.

According to PUNCH, Haliru Mohammed's son, Abba, got N600m in the name of BAM Properties.

It was learnt that the operatives arrested a former Director, Finance and Administration of the ONSA, an employee of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency, for alleged disbursement of funds from the office.

Investigation revealed that the EFCC had commenced moves to arrest Haliru Bello and Bafarawa allegedly in connection with the funds traced to their children.

The source said, “Today, the commission stepped up the investigation into thearmsgate and arrested former Minister of State, Bashir Yuguda. He was arrested in Abuja and taken to the commission’s headquarters by 4pm today.

“He is being interrogated for complicity in the arms deal; he received N1.5bn through an unnamed firm for unclear reasons.

‘The operatives are also of the view that he received another N1.275bn from the Stallion Group during the campaign for the last general elections.”

WOW! it's the last month of the year, Welcome to December!

Welcome to December!

Thank God we made it.

Just yesterday, I was discussing with two of my friends in Jakarta Indonesia, on how we achieved and (also did not achieve) some of the Goals we had for 2015 but what is more important is that we are alive because of God's Mercies.

The God that has kept us thus far will keep us all through 2015, and beyond in Jesus name.

May our lives be awesome now and always.

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you Exodus 12:2. You are welcome to the Month of December. The Lord asked us to welcome you into the new year this month. He said, "don't wait till January 2016 before you start greeting yourselves, you are in the new year already". What He wants to do is beyond what you can imagine. Your hands shall not be empty this month. The devil has lost the battle. Congratulations.

How a 21 year old student impersonated Lagos CP to raise school fees

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni
The police in Lagos have arrested a polytechnic student, Obinna Collins, who allegedly impersonated the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, to defraud some members of the public.

PUNCH newspaper reports that 21-year-old Collins allegedly opened a fake Facebook account in the name of the CP, through which he solicited funds to run a non-existent charity.

Collins, who claimed to be an Electrical Engineering student of the polytechnic, said he had defrauded only one victim before his arrest.

He told Punch thus, “I opened a Facebook account for the Lagos CP in September. I chose the CP of Lagos because I knew it was a popular office. I opened the account as a means to sustain my studies. I opened it to help myself in school. I only defrauded a woman. She sent N20,000 to my bank account.
“The lady’s name is Ronke. She said she wanted to date the Commissioner of Police, and she wanted to also meet me. She added that she had feelings for me. I told her that I run a charity and had a group of boys that I sponsored their education. So, I asked her to send in a support and she sent the money.
“I was arrested by the police at a filling station in Ikeja. I did not know the lady had reported me after paying the money. I came to the area to meet her and I was arrested.
“Now, I feel guilty that I went into this.”
Our correspondent gathered that the suspect, who allegedly uploaded the photo of the Lagos CP and a welcome speech, had reached out to members of the public to send in money to his charity.

The Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said he did not operate on the social media, but only on the official police platforms.

He said, “I have never operated a Facebook account and I will not. You can only find me on official police platforms which are on our booklets. Members of the public should be wary of impostors who want to defraud them by dropping names.”

BLOODY: Faleke, Bello Supporters Fight Openly in Abuja Over APC Ticket for Kogi

Battle for the Kogi State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket thickens, as supporters of the gladiators, James Faleke and Yahaya Bello clash at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Monday.

As at the time of reporting, the party’s National Working Committee members, reporters and visitors at the APC national secretariat in Abuja have been held hostage by feuding youths.

Faleke was the running mate to late Prince Abubakar Audu and wants the INEC to declare him winner of the governorship election.

The INEC had declared the November 21 election inconclusive, saying that the margin in the number of votes garnered by the APC’s candidate, late Abubakar Audu and the runner-up, the candidate of the PDP and the incumbent Governor, Captain Idris Wada, was less than the number of votes cancelled.

Bello is being pushed by some leaders of the party to take the governorship ticket, having taken part in all processes during the primaries of the party.

Some of the feuding youths are brandishing weapons against themselves.

Doctor scammed of N12m Land by blood brother in Lagos

High Court
In what seems to be a great betrayal, a medical practitioner, Dr Iyk Maduba has allegedly been swindled by his own blood brother, Chizoba Maduba, who sold the doctor’s land for N12m in Lagos State, .

PM News reports that Chizoba forged Iyk’s land documents and conspired with three other suspects, Emmanuel Adebayo, Ikechukwu Iwuoha and Moruf Olarewaju and sold the land for N12m and shared the money.
The incident happened at Okeafa area in Ejigbo, Lagos where the property was located.
Following the scam, the police arrested the suspects involved and charged them before Ejigbo Magistrates’ court with conspiracy, forgery and stealing.

According to the police, Iyk acquired the landed property some years ago and entrusted it to Chizoba’s care pending when he will be ready to develop the land.
Unknown to Iyk, Chizoba arranged with the other suspects and forged documents for the land and sold it to a buyer.
When Iyk was eventually ready to develop the land, he asked Chizoba to take him to the land to assess it before he would commence work.
When they got there, Iyk discovered that a structure had been erected on the land.
When he confronted the person building on the land, he told him that he bought the land from Chizoba and presented the documents to that effect.

Chizoba who was also present confirmed that he actually sold the land to the builder and explained to Iyk that he did not tell him because he might not allow the land to be sold.
Chizoba also explained to Iyk that he had equally used the money from the sale of the land to solve his personal problem.
He handed him to the police where he implicated other suspects who were also rounded up for prosecution.
When they were arraigned, they pleaded not guilty.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs J. O. E. Adeyemi granted them bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 11 December, 2015.
