A 22-year-old lady, Shamma AlMazrui has been appointed as the Minister for Youth Affairs after a cabinet shake-up in United Arab Emirates.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced his new Cabinet in a series of Twitter posts Wednesday evening. Oxford University master's degree holder Shamma was one of seven women named to ministerial posts.
The shake-up was introduced to inject new and fresh thinking into the government’s cabinet.
