The legendary musician died who created some of the world's most soulful songs passed away on thursday. Rolling Stone confirmed late Friday that the singer had passed away aged 70.
The singer had been diagnosed with colon cancer in recent years but was believed to be in remission and was also reportedly suffering from early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
