Trust is a fragile thing. As a citizen of a nation, our trust in government allows us to feel safe; to go about our daily lives without the fear. Yet in Nigeria, insecurity is at an all-time high. This is a country in which 294 days ago, over 200 girls were ripped from the lives as they knew it and were left without recourse.
This is a nation where the epicenter of industry and commerce in its region, Maiduguri, is facing repeated, audacious attacks by a terrorist group insurgency.
Nigerians have the power to change that; to take the first step in protecting themselves. It is a permanent voter card, and it can be used to change the government and change the country's abysmal status quo. As Nigeria moves into the final days leading up to the election, this video release asks the question: who would Nigerians trust?
A man who has created our abysmal present situation, or a man who has proven security credential when dealing with terrorist incursion. Nigerians have a choice. Who should they trust?
