Lamido Gets Bail with Travel Documents, Sons Pay $13, 000 Each



A federal high court in Abuja, has granted bail to the former Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido and his two sons who are facing trial on corruption and money laundering charges.


The judge asked Lamido to hand over all his travel documents to the court registrar as a bail condition.


However, his two sons were asked to pay $13,000 (£8,000) each to make sure that they would appear at the trial. It is not clear when the trial will take place.
