President Buhari Reportedly Gives Service Chiefs 3 Months to Win Boko Haram



On Thursday morning, President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly charged the Service Chiefs to map out strategies to defeat Boko Haram in three months' time.


Buhari gave the charge at the Presidential Villa in Abuja while decorating the service chiefs with their new ranks. He also told them that they must be accountable for all men and equipment under their commands.

They are Chief of Defence Staff Major-General Abayomi Olonishakin, Chief of Army Staff Major-General T.Y. Buratai, Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas and Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
