Billionaire Jimoh Ibrahim’s Workers Protest Against Him Live on TV over Unpaid Salaries

Billionaire businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim was on a live broadcast on AIT giving a public lecture during the Energy Group 5th GMD conference when distress staff of from National Mirror newspaper, one of the subsidiaries of his Group, stormed the event, interrupted it and asked him to pay them the salaries he's owing them for several months.

It was a big embarrassment but Jimoh Ibrahim managed the situation and made a point. He said:
"These are staff of the National Mirror who cannot generate their own salary, and they expect the company to make money from the company to pay them. Is that practically okay? That is not possible. I have said it that any arm of the group that cannot generate money to pay its salary would be shut down."

Speaking further on the issue, the billionaire said he has 16 companies and only one of those companies has staff protesting lack of unpaid salaries and blamed it on the top management of the company.

In fact, he said he is ready to pay the outstanding salaries of the workers of National Mirror for five months on the condition that the MD and DMD will resign immediately after the conference.

What is the MD and DMD waiting for? If they can't manage the paper let them leave for others to do it.
