British man dies in Lekki hotel


A Briton was yesterday found dead in a hotel located in Lekki, a Lagos suburb.
The man, identified as Gibson Mark Damien, 55, was said to have been discovered motionless  around 12am at Churchill Lodge.
Until his death, the Briton was said to be working with Port to Port Office on Victoria Island, the Nation reports.


According to police spokesperson Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP), the hotel manager, Mrs Ihuoma Ubani reported that the Damien, who was a guest in the hotel was found dead and a doctor from Ave Maria Specialist Hospital in Oniru contacted.
Dolapo added that it was the doctor who certified him dead before his corpse was deposited at a morgue for autopsy.
