Davido reacts to Dbanj’s claims of signing him with a Rolex watch

Nigerian musician Dapo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj revealed in a recent interview that he gave Davido’s his first breakthrough years ago when he signed him to his record label with a Rolex watch.
According to Dbanj in the interview, he is super proud today that Davido can afford to give out as many Rolexes as he wants today.

The father of one also made it known that he was approached by Davido’s father Chief Adeleke who pleaded with him that he would like his son to go to school before focusing on music.
Fans of Davido are however finding it hard to believe Dbanj, hence they have called on Davido to shed light on the matter.

A Twitter user asked Davido if truly Dbanj signed him in 2014 with a Rolex watch to which Davido responded that truly he got his first Rolex from Dbanj but no paper works was involved “I didn’t sign nothing” he said, confirming that Dbanj indeed gave him his first Rolex watch but he wasn’t signed.
Davido also made it known that Dbanj paved the way for him any day!
