In spite of all their threats, the PDP senators could not stop the confirmation of Rotimi Amaechi as minister and their friend, Senate President Bukola Saraki, has lost his bid to stop his trial at the CCT.
Saraki has said he will head to Supreme Court in search of justice, but will PDP senators go with him?
Saraki wanted the appellate court stop his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, where he has been charged on 13-counts with false asset declaration but all his prayers were quashed.
Delivering judgment, Justice Moore Agumanen, who read the majority verdict of the Court of Appeal upheld Saraki's trial at the Tribunal, saying the CCT is properly constitution. All eyes on 5th November.
