Despite the letter written by ThisDay Publisher, Nduka Obaigbena to EFCC explaining how he got N670million from the embattled ex-NSA boss, Sambo Dasuki, investigation from Saharareporters have revealed that Dasuki paid N670m to General Hydrocarbons Ltd with account at GT Bank controlled by Nuka Obaigbena as payment for Energy Consulting. Dasuki allegedly wrote to Obaigbena an email: "I will send the balance for the 2 additional newspapers. We can celebrate after the elections."
Investigations have also disclosed that N2.1 billion was given to Raymond Dokpesi of DAAR Investment and Holding Company Ltd for 2015 election publicity for PDP Nigeria.
