PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, four (4) years ago, I never liked you and I never wanted you in power and as my President and President of Nigeria. I did everything to convince my friends back then not to vote for you or support you, however you won and became the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Command in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

I, complained and wished you were not the President of Nigeria but you became the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and after many seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years, you spent as the Command in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I have never seen a Nigerian MAN, with a heart of GOLD, a heart for God’s purpose and His principles, a heart for the people and soul of Nigeria, a heart for the poor, a heart for the young and the restless youths of Nigeria, a heart the northerners, the southerners, the westerners and the easterners of this great nation Nigeria as President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Yes, there is none Nigerian as he, past, present and not yet in the future, with a big heart, a pure spirit and an open heart and a heart void of offence towards his offenders. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a rear JEM, that has gone through the fire but is not consumed by the fire but has been refined into a glorious desirable DIAMOND that is priceless.

You made me love you, made me have endless respect and high esteem for you. You won my heart and trust with the works you have done that speak of your excellence, your foresight, your father’s heartforevery single Nigerian irrespective of their background, affiliation, religion, etc.Your leadership, your strength in weakness and your “shepherdnature” to the lost sheep of Nigeria, endear me to you. You did not raise your voice to the high heaven, yet I heard you, you did not publish your acts, yet I saw them in the lives of many, and you did not sing, yet I heard and felt the rhythm, beat and symphony played and is being played. Your music will not end as many generations would hear it being sung on the lips of many more to come.

You had the right to be re-elected and it was in your power as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, to do it by all mean irrespective of whose ox is gored, because you knew, heard and received all the intelligence on every single activities of the opposition and all them that were against you, and you could easily have given the word to change everything in your favour, however, you CHOOSE not to abuse your right and priviledges that was bestowed upon you.

You saw what many past Heads of States, Presidents, leaders, etc of the Federal Republic of Nigeria could not see. To have tasted and eaten the juicy honey and to now leave it, is something many would never understand. You were tempted beyond measure but you deliberately CHOOSE to let go all the glory, the fame, the wealth, and the power for another to take over. Why? For God’s sake? What did you see, that would have made you relinquish power so freely without a fight?

You saw countless:
* Mothers that would have been made widows,

* Children that would have been made fatherless/motherless,

* Newlyweds that would have been cut short without bring forth the seeds of the next generation that would enhance this nation,

* Single guys and ladies, who would not have gotten married to their beloved and brought forth grandchildren for their parent,

* Young ones and the youths whose future would have been terminated, as they would not have completed their educations and fulfilled their dreams and hopes,

* Unborn babies that would not have been born to this great nation,

* Women and ladies that would have been raped and uncovered,

* Seeds of great harvest that have already been sown and the expected harvests been awaited,

* Inventions and investments that this great nation holds and is pregnant with, which would be of great blessing to many nations,

You saw all this and much more, as in the way and preparation that the wolfs and vultures have set up themselves to devour the unsuspected people, even those that called for your head, you CHOOSE to PRESERVE, PROTECT and SUSTAIN every single live and soul of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the imminent catastrophe and collateral damage that was upon us as a people irrespective of where we are from, who we are giving our support to, you, with one swing of action, you stilled and quiet the raging storm, you threw confusion in the camp of your foes, you won the fight without any casualties and saved many from themselves.

It was tough not be labeled a weakling and a failure. It was a tough decision to make and choice to take to loss and let go all that glory associated with being the Commander in Chief of the Armed of Forces and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. However, you SACRIFIED yourself and all these pleasure for a time, to win and conquer the foes and you have disarmed them completely by your action to preserve the lives and properties of millions.

You are truly the Good Shepard of the sheep. You are a Father, that has fathered every single Nigerian, a Melodious Song that will be sang for centuries to come, a Script and true story that would be read to countless generations to come, a Play that would be acted, a monument erected in the hearts of men, the Sun that is shining in its full strength, a Heartbeat that would be missing, a Vision that would not be seen, a Rain that would no longer fall, a Treasure that would be soughtafter, and so much to me.

What you have accomplished is written on the hearts of countless souls across the length and breath of the earth/world. Your testimony/testament will live on from generation to generation according to the laws of the Medes and Persians that is not altered or changed.

For the 48 years that I have lived by God’s grace, there are only two (2) occasions in my life time that I have actually and truly cried and shade tears. The first was when I read a book titled “The Testament” written by John Grisham, while the other time was today, for you Mr. President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as I write this, to bear record that, you are a rainbow that has coloured lives.

You affected and influenced me from not having hope in you from your first four (4) years, to now have grown to love you, appreciate you and is the fruit and evidence of your good heart and works.

Thank you.
