Popular boxer Manny Pacquiao has declared his intention to run for his country's Senate 5yrs after being a member of Philippine Congress.
Disclosing this to his constituents,he said he will be seeking a higher office following the expiration of his 2nd term which is approaching.

'In the coming days, I will be embracing new levels of responsibility. I will be confronting tough challenges. My second term as your congressmen will soon be over, but I will continue to be of service to you and to our fellow Filipinos'.
Manny is a member of the opposition party which has the Vice President, Jejomar Binay as its Presidential candidate.However,he said the ruling party which the incumbent president, Benigno Aquino belongs to has been appealing to him to join them.
'Yes, I'm going to run for a Senate post this coming 2016 election. But as to which party, that's still to be determined'.
