Decomposing bodies of two secondary school boys found 10 days after kidnap

It was such a gory sight as the decomposing bodies of two students, Tochukwu Ene and Chukwuemeka Ugwu, who were Junior Secondary School JSS III students of the Federal Government College, Okposi, in Ohaozara council Area of Ebonyi State were discovered in the local river in the area.
The two deceased were kidnapped on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 on the day they finished their Junior NECO exams. 

The kidnappers never asked for any ransom for their release and unfortunately, ten days after they went missing, their bodies were found.
A family source of one of the deceased told The Nation that the bodies of the boys were found floating in a local river on Sunday, May 22nd, 2016. 

The source also added that no ransom was sought by the kidnappers from the boys' parents. The boys parents Barrister and Mrs Bato Ene and Mrs. Bonny Ugwu, aka Bonjoe, were never contacted to pay any ransom or anything by the kidnappers who murdered their children.

The police in Ebonyi, have since made some arrests, in regards to the death of these young boys. Some of the people arrested were some members of staff of FGC, Okposi and the traditional ruler of the community who is currently being interrogated at the Police Command headquarters, Abakaliki.

The remains of the students has been laid to rest at their respective hometowns following autopsy carried out by police pathologists to determine the possible causes of their deaths.
