Alleged Killer Husband, Lekan Shonde to be Chargedwith Murder



Despite the autopsy report which shows that Ronke Shonde, who was allegedly killed by her husband, Lekan Shonde in Egbeda area of Lagos State died of respiratory seizure instead of domestic violence, Mr. Shonde will be charged for murder today, Friday, May 20.


The decision to take Lekan before the court came on Thursday evening  after a proper review of the autopsy report on Ronke.

The autopsy report has it that Ronke died from respiratory seizure and head injury, suspected to have been inflicted by Lekan.

This development was confirmed on Thursday by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmos. Badmos said the autopsy revealed that Lekan has a case to answer and will therefore he will be charged to court on Friday to answer a charge of murder.
